The Dynamic Spine: Safe Movement for All Spines (and Hips)
Are you ready for whoever walks into your class, gym, or studio?
This is an exciting course that is based on my book, “Safe Movement for All Spines – a Guide to Spinal Anatomy and How to Work with 21 Spine and Hip Conditions”, available from North Atlantic Books and Penguin/Random House. You may order your copy here, or from your local bookstore. A copy is included with Dynamic Spine course enrollment.
Each module starts with a PowerPoint background lecture, detailed workbook, client assessment sheet, and quiz to complete at your own pace. Each module includes a live hybrid (in-person or Zoom) mentoring session that adds assessments, exercises, and movement guidelines for Pilates, yoga, general fitness and movement professionals. The mentoring sessions are a collaborative learning environment to train the teachers eye and integrate the material into practice.
The complete course is approved for 72 CEC hours from American Council on Exercise (ACE), Yoga Alliance (YA), International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), and 60 hours from the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP – formerly PMA).
Enrollment is evergreen, so you may start at any point, and circle back the following year to attend any live courses missed. Recordings of the live course are provided to currently enrolled students. Audits for returning students are complimentary.

Mentoring
As a teacher trainee, you are invited to attend the courses you have successfully completed a second (and more!) time for free.
Advanced students have the opportunity to earn student teaching hours, observation hours, and personal practice hours as needed when they return to audit modules.
